Hello, I'm Luke Roberts, founder of House Made Ready (HMR). Bicester has been my home for over eight years now. Bicester was where I met my life partner, where we're raising our child, and where you'll often find me grabbing a local coffee or playing with my son in the park when I take a breather from work.
Ever since I was young, I've been obsessed with how people live and interact with the built environment. That lifelong passion drove me to earn my degree in Architectural Design at Portsmouth in 2015, followed by a Master's in Sustainable Architecture from the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in 2017.
Over the past decade as an architectural designer, including four years running my own practice, Storyboard Design, I kept seeing the same pattern: people desperately want to adapt, renovate, convert, or extend their homes, but they are completely lost due to a lack of vision, data, and clarity.
"I've always loved solving complex problems, and that passion led to the creation of House Made Ready. With technology and AI advancing rapidly, I recognised the need for meaningful change.
